Horizontal Winter Roosting Box

Made from 3/4" eastern white pine for insulation and durability. Roof is slanted slightly to shed water. The front wall tilts open for inspection and clean-out and is held closed by an L hook. The entrance hole is near the base to keep warmth, which rises, within, and it's protected from squirrels by a slate guard. Two dowels inside extend from side to side for perching.
